Who we are: Delco Park Electric, a business located in Kettering, Ohio.

What this covers: the site, your calls to us and the emails we exchange.

What do you receive from me?

Two kinds of information reach us. The first is what you choose to give: the name, telephone number, email address and job details you type into the web form, plus your address or ZIP code when the form includes them, and whatever you say on a call or write in an email. The other kind is technical. Each time someone opens a page, the servers of our hosting company for this website record the visitor’s IP address, the browser in use, the page and the time, which is how the site is protected and kept running.

What does the chat keep?

We record every chat on this site. A record contains the messages you write, including a name, an email or a telephone number if you give one, and the job you describe; the page you were on and the website you arrived from; an approximate location based on your internet address; the device and browser in use; and a random code your browser keeps for the chat so that your chats can be told apart. The chat may be answered by an automated assistant, for which the chat’s providers process your messages. The record is there so we can answer you, get your work booked and make the chat better.

Does the site use cookies?

This site uses no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. The hosting provider may place one strictly necessary cookie that protects the site from attacks, and it may tally visits without cookies, which produces anonymous totals of the pages viewed.

What do you use my information for?

We use what you send for the job at hand: replying, scheduling, doing the work and following up. The same information supports the record keeping every business does, the security of this website and meeting legal obligations.

Who else sees my information?

Others who may see your information:

• the companies that host this site, handle our email and deliver messages from the web form;
• service partners helping us answer you or do the work;
• authorities or others, when a law requires it or when it is needed to protect rights or safety.

How do I opt out of sale or sharing?

One privacy right gets its own page: the opt-out. Several states allow residents to opt out of the selling or sharing of their personal information, in the sense each state’s law gives those words, and the Your Privacy Choices page shows how to use it.

Can I see or delete my information?

You are entitled to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected and to have it deleted. Contact us by email at manager@delcoparkelectric.com or by phone at (937) 719-8299 to make a request. Before we act, we may need to check that you are the person asking, and using any of these rights will not change how we treat you.

When is my information deleted?

We hold information for as long as it is needed for your request, the work, our business records and our legal obligations, and after that it is deleted.

Is my information safe?

Reasonable steps are taken to keep your information safe. All the same, there is no such thing as perfect security, online or off, and we cannot guarantee it.

What about children?

We do not knowingly gather information from children under 13, and this site is not intended for them.

How will I know about changes?

If we change anything here, the new text replaces this one and carries a new date at the top of the page.
