How do you make the site accessible?

Accessibility target: the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. Every page of delcoparkelectric.com is built with that standard in mind, from its text to its forms.

Concretely, this site uses text you can select and enlarge instead of pictures of words, headings in their proper order, and link and button text that describes the destination or action. Contrast was tested, and forms come with labels and understandable error messages. The layout adjusts for phones and for zooming. Keyboard users can reach every control and see a visible focus outline. Photographs have alternative text.

Every page is tested with automated accessibility tools, and every change is also checked at desktop and mobile screen sizes before it goes online.

What if I hit a barrier?

There are limits. The text that describes a photo may skip some of what it shows. Anything that stops you from using the site is our fault, for us to fix.
