  • Your Satisfaction, Guaranteed
  • Highly Rated by Our Customers

The form carries text only. Photos of the panel, a scorched outlet or the area in question are welcome by email at manager@delcoparkelectric.com once the request has been sent; a note with the sender’s name lets the office match them to the request.

After the Request Is Sent

The office reads each request and calls back to ask a few questions about the problem, the age of the building and where the trouble shows up. Those answers decide what the visit needs to cover, and a time is then set. Hugo Kim, the owner, comes out to look at the panel, the wiring and the area in question. He goes over what he found and lays out the work before any of it begins, so the customer knows what is proposed and why before a single wire is touched.

Where the answers point to something that should not wait, such as heat at an outlet, a burning smell or a breaker that trips again the moment it is reset, the safest step in the meantime is to leave that circuit switched off at the panel and keep heaters and appliances off it.

Details That Help Before the Visit

Very little preparation is needed, but a few details make the first call shorter and the visit more useful:

  • The problem and when it started, including whether it comes and goes
  • Which rooms, outlets or circuits are affected
  • The age of the home, if known, and any additions or past electrical work
  • The best times to be reached, and the number to call

Clear access to the electrical panel helps as well. In many Kettering houses the panel sits in a basement corner or a garage wall behind shelving or stored boxes; moving those aside before the visit lets the assessment start at the panel without delay.

Where the Work Takes Place
